Two Friday Finishes

I sewed down the binding on the last side of Shabby Heart last night while watching the season finale of "Project Runway". I am so in LOVE with this quilt!

The pattern for this quilt is called "Heather's Lacy Heart" from the book "Quick & Easy Romantic Quilts". It measures 53" by 57" and is made from Robyn Pandolph fabrics except for the heart/binding fabric which is from Blackbird Designs. I started this quilt in 2007 and it was professionally quilted by Nancy Clayburn of Quilting by Design last month.
This angle really shows off Nancy's gorgeous quilting!
I love this backing fabric - another Robyn Pandolph print. The little vases are so charming.
While I was working on my next finish Tucker arrived for a Juki inspection. It's about time!
"Sports Kid" will be donated to Project Linus and is made using the free Warm Wishes pattern found at Quiltmaker.com. If you are ever looking for a quick, easy and fun to make pattern Warm Wishes should be at the top of your list.
I found this sport themed flannel in my stash for the backing. I could not believe how easily my Juki sewed through all those layers while doing machine binding!  My Pfaff usually gets a bit revved up while doing the corners but not this guy.
Two UFO finishes brings me to 20 UFOs that are now simply FOs! Woo Hoo! And, I get to pick a new project (10 UFO finishes = New Project Reward) to start. Double WOO HOO!! Just a wee bit excited aren't I? I'm off to look over my list and decide on one. These are UFO finishes #3 & #4 for 2013.

Blogger is being feisty and won't let me align my opening paragraphs correctly today. Is anyone else having formatting issues?
