This week went by so fast... I can't believe it's already time to link up to RSC14! My blue chevron stripe is fully assembled - I'm using 12 5" charm squares from my stash paired with a white solid and planning to lay them out in ROYGBIV order for a Project Linus sized quilt.
I also added 2 more RSC Sampler blocks - Split Pinwheel and Happy Squares - to my collection. Ohio Star is almost finished (I wanted to take pictures before it got too dark!) and I realized this morning that I don't have a Tri Recs ruler so I'll be adding 54 40 or Fight to my wall when it arrives on Tuesday. How I LOVE Amazon Prime!
As always I am looking forward to sewing with a new color in February and wondering what color Angela has in mind. I'm linking up to ScrapHappy Saturday@soscrappy and can't wait to see what everyone else has been making this week!
I've always loved to make things. Join me while I reboot my creativity, create a new quilting room and tackle LOTS of unfinished projects.
Looks great. I plan to get more involved in sew-alongs once I get caught up. Love the zig-zags. I have a sampler that is missing a border because the wrong size was given. Perhaps a substitution is in order.
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing all those gorgeous blues together!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike? or a little scary? I was looking at blogs a little bit ago, found a chevron quilt-along and thought, "Wouldn't a rainbow of those look pretty?"
ReplyDeleteYour sampler blocks are looking good!
lovely blocks!
ReplyDeleteClever idea to do those chevrons in the ROYGBIV array. That will be a visually striking design.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blues.
ReplyDeleteLove your blue chevron! You have so many great blue scrappy blocks.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your wall of blue. Such a happy place! Great zig zag blocks. Such a great plan for a row by row quilt. Enjoy your tri-recs when it comes in. I never thought I would start to like rulers so much, but they come in handy.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty blocks!
ReplyDeleteFun!
ReplyDeleteI have that tri recs ruler, and have yet to use it. I bought it after I made a zillion of those elongated star blocks!
Is Amazon delivering by drone yet?
Your blues look amazing. I am ready for a new color, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics and I love your HST in a chevron layout.
ReplyDeleteLove all your blocks. The chevrons look great too xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the zig zag (and, of course, the other blocks, too!!)!! Hugs.......
ReplyDeleteI will have to look into joining sew alongs too. Love your blues. It's my favorite color. I fin I have a lot of blues in my stash.
ReplyDeleteI'm new at this blogging stuff. I see I have a lot to learn.

Love the chevron -- especially how it reads as one tone but is all different fabrics!
