I have been on a lucky streak this summer with blog giveaways so thought I would share my bounty today. There is nothing better than getting an email containing the word "winner" followed by quilt goodies in the mailbox!
Barbara who blogs at Cat Patches has a monthly NewFO Challenge that I've been participating in (read more about it HERE). In June I was the winner and received this adorable bird Needle Nanny. It has a magnet that you put behind your fabric and then you can secure your needle behind the bird while doing handwork. So clever... thanks again Barbara!
Persimmon Dreams. This is a real treat because although I piece exclusively with Auriful thread in the dazzling colors of white, cream and light grey I have never had any of their variegated threads. So I can't wait to try these out for some gorgeous quilting. Thanks a bunch Kim!
My luck continued with a giveaway at Pat Sloan's blog where I won this beautiful fabric tassle chock full of generous scraps from her "Bobbins & Bits" line. Look at this scrumptious mix of cottons and batiks... these are definitely going into my Special Scrap Bin for a future fun project. Thank you so much Pat!
Flamingo Toes which introduced to me to the world of print to order fabric at Modern Yardage. Bev's giveaway was for a yard of the top fabric called "Arborteum" from their line called "Garden Party" by Heather Dutton and a yard of your choice. I chose the coordinating print "Take Flight in Rocky Path".
You can choose each print in 3 different sizes and it arrives printed on 58" wide continuous fabric. I have a cute freebie panel to make a wallet on the excess width. Pretty cool isn't it? This will be a welcome addition to my stack of grey and yellow fabrics (my current color combo obsession) for a future project. Thanks again Bev!
I hope you have a chance to take a look at any of these blogs that are new to you because I think you'll enjoy your visit - I am a happy follower of each of these talented women!
