The very first fabric that caught my eye at my LQS this morning is the ONE!
I tried all kinds of marbles and tone on tones next to these blocks but both the sales person and I agreed on this pretty green print. I can't wait to get this top put together and ready to mail on Monday. Thanks so much to those who gave me feedback last week, you helped me see what I couldn't quite grasp. I was in love with the fabric but it wasn't right for this quilt. Note to self - when you are being wishy-washy about something keep looking!
They had the cutest display of embroidery scissors at the counter and somehow this little polka dot pair jumped into my bag. Aren't they fun?
Have a great weekend everyone! My daughter, her boyfriend and the J-cats are here for a visit. The cats are staying here for the next 2 weeks while my daughter goes to Hawaii for spring break with her boyfriend's family (lucky girl!). So, you can expect lots of cat pictures very soon.
