After 2 days of catching up on Season 1 episodes of Downton Abbey & Revenge (what do you think of that combo?), sorting charms and mindlessly dumping & grabbing stuff in my quilting room in between I have this mess to take charge of this morning. Ugh! Does anyone else make things worse in the process of trying to make things better?
On the positive side, I have an empty drawer and 5 colors already picked out for RSC13. I needed to make some room in my charm bins and hadn't "played" with them for a long time so I thought I might as well Reds, yellows and blues.
Oranges and greens.
Can't wait!
What's Hot:
1. Project Linus quilts - I've got this Happy Block quilt ready for binding and 2 backings ready to sandwich.
2. Purple RSC13 Blocks
3. Christmas Stocking #2 - the gold fabric is for binding. A very masculine feel to this one!
4. Triple Zip Pouch
I'm linking up to WIP Wednesday@Freshly Pieced. Back to the mess...
Love that Linus quilt. The broad waves look great with it.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you haven't forgotten the stockings! LOL Your room looks very real. You should see mine. Love the great colorful squares.
ReplyDeleteI love your Project Linus quilt. As a Linus quilter I am always thrilled to see what others are making for this great charity. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is cleaning out his study and said much the same thing last weekend, it gets a whole lot worse before it gets better! Love that happy quilt you're giving to Project Linus.
ReplyDeleteMy room looks much the same right now! I'm in the middle of way too many things!
ReplyDeleteLove the Happy Quilt.
ReplyDeleteI am messy but not that messy. LOLLL There again that's probably because I have less space than you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics and quilt.
You make a pretty good mess.... but I might have you beat! Check out the mess I made while rearranging my sewing rooms (posted on my blog). I only have one room almost finished. Great progress finishing things.
ReplyDeleteI love the quilting on your Linus quilt...looks so easy and straight forward :o)
