It's the last Saturday of February... one more chance to show off purple scrappy blocks!
Birds in the Air blocks in a couple of different layouts, I'm hoping I'll be up to the task of quilting all of that negative space by the end of the year~!
I'm linking up to ScrapHappy Saturday.

very dramatic blocks! Pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in your blocks they are very stunning.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. This might be a good solution for the large collection of red charm squares I have. Love the purple though.
ReplyDeleteOh, there is lots of great space for quilting in there. Looks like choosing a layout will be the fun part though, so many ways to go.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love HSTs in any configuration!
ReplyDeleteThe purples look so beautiful in your blocks!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of your purple scraps. Lookin' good! Love how you left open spaces for quilting later. Nice.
ReplyDeleteDon't dwell on the "what" for those negative spaces. I have learned to look around at ideas but then just "jump in"/"break the ice". After those first few stitches I have a great time!!! Love those purples and the total pattern is stunning!!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun you will have playing with these blocks! And never fear - you'll be ready to quilt it when the time comes :*) I'm doing some HST's too - they're irresistible!
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks, fun to play with the layouts.
ReplyDeleteThese blocks are really pretty. I bet you'll have lots of fun filling up that blank space with quilting!
