Who is this little cutie perched on my lap this morning?
Last night my husband called from a friend's house saying he had a stray kitten hanging around outside all day and wondered if he should bring it home. With our forecast for overnight lows at -25 degrees I said yes of course. Our daughter headed out for Kitten Chow and then kitty spent the evening moving from lap to lap and purring nonstop! As kitty appears to be a she I've been calling her Elsa because of her fuzzy little lion mane! If you have never seen the movie "Born Free" Elsa is an abandoned lion cub.
As long as she checks out with our vet and isn't on any lost posters around town it looks like Tucker will have a new little sister. He is lukewarm at best about this new development!
She is quite skinny but adorably sweet. Right now she is back on my lap purring contentedly.
Elsa is such a beautiful little kitten!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear she has found a wonderful new home with your family.
She is adorable...and what a happy ending!! You will fatten her up in no time and little Tucker will be feeling the love in know time! Enjoy your new addition!

What a lucky kitty! Tucker will also cave into her charms in no time! I hope her health checks out OK and she will officially be a member of the family. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGuess you may have been touched by the hand of Kitty Fate lol
ReplyDeleteIf she has a ruffle she just might be a Maine Coon?
Hope she snot though, because then she may belong to someone and Im guessing your already smitten, with this kitten lol
Tucker will get used to the idea just keep making a fuss of him too lol
Aw, what a cutie. You and your husband are so good to bring her in.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to be owned by a lovely little kitten like this. She is so pleased to have found you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie pie! I hope everything works out as it looks like she has already has made herself at home. I'm sure Tucker will warm up to her and soon they will be sleeping curled up in one big mass of fur babies.
ReplyDeleteWell hello there pussy cat! I'm sure you will find an abundance of quilts to lounge around on because your new owner finishes one daily---just sayin'...
ReplyDeletePurrrrfect!
ReplyDeleteDeb, she's adorable.
ReplyDeleteOh.. she is totally adorable!
ReplyDeleteI think you should consider her an early Christmas gift!
How lucky for her, and you, that your fates connected. We found our cat similarly - or I should say, he found us - five years ago, and we feel completely blessed.
I'm jealous, I've been hoping a stray would find me since I lost Rodger 3 years ago. She is beautiful and I know will be so loved.
ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty. and a very lucky kitty to have been rescued into a loving home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky kitty to have been found and brought in before the temps outside dropped so low. I lost my kitty of 15 years just before Thanksgiving and am missing a kitty that sits on my lap. I hope you are able to keep her she looks adorable and very happy.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, and so lucky to have found your family.
ReplyDeleteVery cute indeed! How kind of you to take her in at a moment's notice.
ReplyDeleteBless you for taking her in. Obviously she was in need of a kind, gentle home.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Looks like she has found her forever home.
