A 9 fat quarter bundle of Pearl Bracelets by Lizzy House! I have been head over heels in love with this line all year so it seemed like the perfect choice for a giveaway prize.UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed. I guess I'm not the only one who loves Pearl Bracelets judging by all the entries!

ReplyDeleteStressful! Major building work on our house and then both my husband and I were both diagnosed with auto-immune diseases! I won't be sad to see the end of this year! thanks for the great giveaway
ReplyDeleteUnstash! Not sure that is a word but I have certainly defined it in 2013. Unfortunately, I think it will carry right on over to 2014. But I sure wouldn't turn down those fun fabrics! :-)

ReplyDeleteI would like to enter the chance for the drawing to help add to the stash for my charity sewing.

ReplyDeleteExciting - We had a lot of new things come along this year that made life fun and exciting ;)
ReplyDeleteFamily . . . because I have been blessed with two of the sweetest little granddaughters this year!
ReplyDeleteThankful--my mother is in a wonderful nursing home.
ReplyDeleteMy word is stitched. I am machine quilting my 93rd quilt for the year. A few are mine, a few for charity or guild projects, but mostly for other people. I really don't need the income, but it is hard for me to say no. Unfortunately, it really cuts deep into my time to spend on my own projects.
ReplyDeleteEPIC! epic was the mantra for my chorus as we competed in a contest in hawaii and won gold. It was one for the history books, and a one we worked sooo hard for.

But in the course of the year that we've now been here (we moved to an area we knew very little about and had no friends or family here and in the course of the year we've met some really great people, made some good friends and gotten to learn a lot about the area we're in! Even better we had a wood burning stove put in this month and are now Warm! yay Warm! :D
Thanks for hosting this great give away!
2013 word of the day-Toddlers. I've been home with my boys and they sure keep me busy. I would be lost without them!

Stress! hah I'm in my final year of nursing school and it is TOUGH! Thankfully I have beautiful fabric to play with and pet when I need to relax!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway!
ReplyDelete2013 for me has been about embracing change. I finally buckled down and have been losing weight that I've wanted off for a long time (and have lost 40 lbs so far). I've also stepped outside my fashion comfort zone and tried (and loved) maxi dresses, colored pants, and skinny jeans!
2013 can only be described as "Devastating" unfortunately. Would love to inject a bit of colour and cheer into my friends life as she lost her only son this year. This fabric along with some "special" fabric to make a memory quilt would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteVolunteerism. After forced into retirement, I have volunteered a lot at our city's botanical garden. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFinally!!! (all three kids are finally in full day school!)
ReplyDeleteecisley(at)comcast(dot)net

ReplyDeleteAdapt has been my word for 2013. There has been lots of unexpected change. All of it good, but a change nonetheless. What is your word for 2014? How impressive that you have completed so many UFO's. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThe word would be "blessed," the year has not gone as planned, nor as expected, but god was there every step of the way. We have come to the end of it in one piece, blessed by the gentle guidance of His hands.

ReplyDeleteI think finish has been my word this year too. While I haven't had as many finishes as you have (so awesome of you) I have been working on finishing quilting tops that I have had lying around for years. I am about half way through a stack of 13 tops. I will keep going on into 2014.
ReplyDeleteI really am not a downer, but the word for me is LOSS. I've coped well and moved on, but loss has been everywhere. kmcassie@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteFast, This year seemed to fly!
ReplyDeleteCaregiving! Both sets of parents needing lots of help this year. Thanks so much for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHorrible. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and have gone through multiple surgeries with it and am now going through the process of reconstruction. My husband also lost his job this year through no fault of his own. When government shut down occurred they decided to cancel his civilian companies contract and then later awarded to to another company. He was out of work for over a month and didn't qualify for unemployment benefits as he is retired military and draws a extremely small check for it. And the renters in our rental property that a property management firm handles for us out of the area. The renters moved out after their 2 year contract ended and our home was extremely messed up and needed tons of repairs and work before it was able to be listed on the market again. So this has been a horrible year...
ReplyDeleteSweet <3 Thankful for my blessings. :)
ReplyDeleteBalance, as I navigate going back to work part time and plan for retirement in a few years.
ReplyDeletePatience. I'm just waiting on God's plans for me.
ReplyDeleteHope and chaotic.

It's been a tough year but now hopefully looking up. Thanks for the giveaway chance - Pearl Bracelets always make things feel happy, don't they? :)
ReplyDeleteStressful! My husband had been ill since the previous fall, and it took 6 months before we finally got a diagnosis and another 6 months and 3 surgeries before (cross your fingers!) the issue was resolved. Here's hoping 2014 is a calmer year!

ReplyDeleteBlissful. :) New job, new apartment, marriage - life is good.
ReplyDeleteKaleidoscope. On the one hand, the joy of having all 4 sons living in the same small town and being with family on a regular basis. On the other I campaigned for and won a state office and as I face the challenges and frustrations I wonder, "what was I thinking?"

ReplyDeleteI think I would say "normal" but in a positive way because even though there haven't been major changes in my life, it means that I'm happy, my family is safe and we have a job, which is very important in Spain as we have 26% of unemployment. I hope 2014 will be "normal" too. Thanks for the giveaway
