I added some blocks of my own to fill out a good sized kids quilt. I love how my eyes chase the blue strings all around this quilt!
I also really like the umbrella print and the slice of the basketball players.
And these cute doggies too!
I choose turquoise polar fleece for one step batting and backing. It seemed a little stretchier than the fleece I've used in the past, but I think the bit of wave I have around the edges will disappear after I wash it. I used a pretty variegated Star thread in shades of blue, turquoise and a bit of purple and a scrappy binding of 5 royal blue prints from my 2.5" string drawer.I just LOVE string quilts! This one will be donated to Project Linus.
