You can see pictures of these projects on my Q1 2003 UFO Progress Tab above.
UFOs 1-7 have a starting date ranging from 2002 (Minnesota Ladyslipper) to 2012 (Christmas Stockings). Pretty impressive huh? I guess I could put this in a more positive light by adding that my Christmas Stockings are my only UFO from the last 3 years... except that those of you who follow my blog know that I had a quilting hiatus from Sept. 2009 to Sept. 2012!
Minnesota Ladyslipper on the right below is going to be my designated January finish for A Lovely Year of Finishes because it is my oldest UFO. I will NEVER let a quilt sit in my closet for over ten years waiting for binding. Promise!

Today I'll be sewing binding on Shabby Florals, Shabby Heart and Minnesota Ladyslipper. It will be a big football weekend at our house as our alma mater NDSU is playing Sam Houston State on Saturday in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision title game. Hopefully they will be victorious for the 2nd year in a row! NFL football playoffs start Saturday later in the day and continue on Sunday so I'll have lots of time for hand sewing. Go Vikings!!
I'm also linking up to 2013: The Year of the Finished Project - January and January - Just Three.
Lots of goals fo this month. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI bind in front of football too... but I will definitely be rooting for the Packers... sorry!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing list! I can't wait to see it all come to life!
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one with a large list for January. I'll be looking forward to your progress.

ReplyDeleteWelcome aboard, good to have you!
ReplyDeleteI also link up to several different parties -- most of them run weekly but I only join in when I have something to show! Good luck sorting it all out.
How organized you are to have such a great list of goals :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your binding. Sounds like a good activity for the weekend coming up.

ReplyDeletegood luck! How'd the binding go? and thank you for linking up!
ReplyDeleteHope you're making progress with that very ambitious list for January. (And I thought my 3 little projects was pushing me. Should be stitching now, but wanted to look through at least 10 blogs of the others in the linky).
