A little more quilting that is.
Much better!
Next up was a stop at the ironing board to remove the Frixion lines and now I'm back where I started ready to trim and bind. Sometimes the quilt really is trying to tell me something and I need to pay better attention!
Aren't these bright little squares (1.5" finished) the cutest? I'm linking up to I Quilt@Pretty Bobbins.
lovely -- esp with the new quilting
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea to add more quilting. It looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYep more quilting worked well, and I love it! Such cheery fabrics, I had to sit and look at each square in the close up picture....silly huh?
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt! I made one very similar from a free pattern called Briar Rose and am looking forward to making another. This time I am doing it as a leaders and enders quilt. So far I have mostly 2.5"x5" pieces sewn together, which I will then cut into 2 squares and make 4 patches. It's testing my ability to make scrappy quilts.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is so vibrant and happy. I think you made the right choice adding the extra quilting - it all balances our nicely now. Great job.
ReplyDeleteYou were certainly listening just right with this one. It looks great.
