Every surface is coated with strings! LOL
Plus, it's spreading to the family room table with Heartstrings blocks ready for trimming once I clear my cutting table.
And the family room floor aka Design Wall. I remembered I have a UFO on my list for this quarter that needed some more blocks so I did a quick layout and made 10 more 7.5" blocks while I had my strings out. Pardon the welcome bright sun that is taking out my bottom corner!
I've even got strings hanging in the closet!
Wouldn't you think after making 40 blocks and all of the strings you see hanging or laying about that my string bin would look emptier than this?
It's crazy! I'd better get back to sewing so I can do laundry later... I'm feeling so much better which makes me extra happy on this bright sunny day.
I'm linking up to Design Wall Monday@Patchwork Times.
That is a lovely string quilt, lots more to make from the looks of your stash.
ReplyDeleteThose crazy strings seems to just grow and grow.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt so far and it looks like there are enough supplies to make several quilts!
ReplyDeleteQuilting definitely takes over! Love it.
ReplyDeleteYou can have fun with strings all summer I think. Good for you - having the strings cut and ready to use. All of the stacks of blocks show just how much you have already got done.
ReplyDeleteHaving just been working on a string quilt, no, I'm not surprised to see that you still have strings left! Your quilt blocks are wonderful. =)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're feeling better. Even your strings look happy! I love to see a room that is busy with projects...all wonderful!
ReplyDeleteStrings everywhere, but looking their best as blocks on their way to being a quilt :) Love all the scrappy fun.
ReplyDeleteLooks great to me!
ReplyDeletelooking great! and Yes I too think that strings multiply tenfold. I seem to have more when I use them up than when I opened my scrap bin or bag. go figure!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a collection of strings you've got there!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're having fun! I love your lilacs, too. Do they attract bees?
ReplyDeleteI think your strings are multiplying!
